About Me
- Name: Yasha
- Location: Oklahoma, United States
I was born and raised in rural Oklahoma. How a landlocked Oklahoma boy such as myself could ever be so enamored with the sea, I'll probably never know. I am currently approaching the lest semester of my undergraduate studies in university. I love Jesus, the Cross, and His church. I am reformed in my theology and love talking Calvin, Luther, and Augustine. I love history, and if you spend any substantial amount of time with me, it is quite possible that you will get an unasked-for history lesson. I am not a very sporty person, however, I love soccer (and I used to play quidditch with the Oklahoma State team. Yes, I did say quidditch). I love music, and help lead music at my local church, playing my violin and singing. Thanks for checking out my blog!

For all of those who read my blog, these are short words, but oh my, how powerful are these. I was taken by the power and sincerity of those precious words. Never will I look at fishermen, who risk their lives every day for our well-being, the same again. They are heroes and always will be. Bless all who fishermen who were and are lost at sea. May God give you eternal rest at the bottom of His watery deep.
Ah, the mesmerizing waters of the ocean! So astoundingly beautiful and inviting, and yet also, so relentless and unforgiving. The haunting, lonely silence of it's depths seem to usher each visitor outside of time and space. With each spray of her waves, the stories beg to be told. She is a music and a rhythm of another kind, spread across the land and shrouded in mystery by the mighty hand of God, our Creator. There in the openness she waits to rock the earth to sleep.
Slumber on for now, lost souls. Your time of rising is yet to come.
Hey Aidan, that is such an awesome pic! I can't wait until I go to see the memorial, whenever that may be.
